Subgoal: Maximize the odds of overtaking your opponent

Resolution: The best way of overtaking your opponent is by setting up a bingo that they can’t block. ERA won’t score enough points to win, even if you draw the blank or the remaining vowels. AIR creates a hook for your V which is difficult for your opponent to block unless they have the S, but forces you to bingo with your V. Meanwhile VID is even more difficult to block and doesn’t force you to keep that clunky V. While you’ll still need the blank to win, VID gives you that potential opportunity.
