Subgoal: Fish for a bingo that enables you to bingo somewhere besides row 14, as your opponent is extremely likely to block row 14.

Resolution: There are only 4 possible spots to bingo on this board: column (which is likely to be blocked), row 3 (which you can’t hit) and rows 11 and 12. Thus, you need to make a fishing play that hits row 11 or row 12.

At first, it’s natural to look for seven letter words. However, the best play is actually to fish for an 8 letter word.  ZA allows you to draw the C to hit IRENICS in row 11 and column n.  However, the better play is QI, hoping to draw an N (there are two Ns and just one C) for SIRENIAN 11a. As a bonus, you also have INSNARE in column n in case your play is blocked (though it almost always won’t be).
