In this position, while it might not be the best play, against a hare you can be creative and pass, hoping your opponent plays something like WORMSEED or ROSEWOOD and letting you bingo out with ANTEATER, allowing you to survive.  While this could fail, hares are likely to make this make, and there is little you can do in this precarious position.
